Raique Hyde Park Shots on a beautiful May Sunday afternoon by the Serpentine, Hyde Park

At the beginning of September we had a great shoot with Lucy Wills doing the styling, direction and imaging working with jewellery by Seraglia and clothes by Good One. Joe Mehmet at Joe’s Salon in Burlington Arcade did excellent work with Harriet’s hair and make up artist Annabelle Miller beautifully  complimented the overall style. I like the Mayfair/Shoreditch contrast and in these shots we used Benoit Ollive and  Nychos Rem’s street art as a backdrops. The light was great and the weather was warm, a mellow introduction to autumn.

Roses and rose petals have long symbolized love and devotion. They are the ultimate sign of devotion and romance; however, there are other meanings to rose petals, depending on their color. Red rose petals symbolize love, passion and respect, and coral rose petals are associated with desire or lust. Purple or lilac rose petals mean love at first sight and enchantment.

Buddhists associate peacock feathers with openness, since the birds display everything when they spread their tails. Buddhists also ascribe great meaning to the bird’s diet of poisonous plants–the ability to thrive in the face of suffering.

heelena_fan

The fan symbolizes friendship, respect, good wishes and a tattoo of a Japanese fan would symbolise a wish for unlimited success. The fan stands for many things, the handle of the fan symbolizes the beginning of life and the ribs are for the roads of life going out in all directions. They were used by warriors as a form of weapon, actors and dancers for performances, and children as a toy. Shoot Charlie Pycraft/Paul Ashby Mariketa by  Makeup Carlee Candice Harrod

“Physical Energy – the fulfilment of his desire to make a “monument to unknown worth”. An extraordinary aspiration to make a material equivalent to something as abstract as value. But this is Watts’s bravery –aware of arts limitations but also of its aspirations : a constant tension within his life.” Antony Gormley, 2007

A trip to Hyde Park August 2011

Seeing as the Sport now publishes very little of the wilder fringes of night time London activities. I thought it was about time I started publishing all my random outtakes from different London clubs, bars and restaurants of girls behaving badly and occasionally well and general randomness as I come across it. The News of the World propelled elements of tabloid excess, for good and ill and hopefully we are not entering a too puritan age reminiscent of the film Dangerous Beauty (a most excellent ‘Confession’ by Veronica Franco at the end of part 10 of 11) and (the beginning part 11 of 11).

Up until early 2006 I broke some great stories and was then temporarily disenfranchised, until now. After a period of introspection and broad analysis of the media I am keen to re-offer my own entertainment, news and creative endeavours…
